The educational systems worldwide are facing the challenges caused by the pandemic of COVID-19. As a prompt response to address the emerging issues, the Asia-Pacific Forestry Education Coordination Mechanism (AP-FECM) will organize a virtual workshop on “Forestry Education in the New Normal: Challenges, Opportunities, and Solutions” on 5 May 2022.
Background Introduction:
Initiated by APFNet, AP-FECM was proposed in 2010 and formally established in 2011. Its purpose is to promote the development of forestry education in the Asia-Pacific region by strengthening cooperation and carrying out collaborative activities. The Executive Office of the AP-FECM is currently hosted by the University of British Columbia, as the Chair of the Mechanism.
