1.Who can apply?
An APFNet scholarship candidate must
- be a non-Chinese citizen with a valid passport and good health;
- hold a bachelor’s degree; and
- have at least three years’ work experience and be currently involved in the forest sector or related fields.
Officials from government agencies will be given priority consideration for admission.
2.What master studies can I undertake at Beijing Forestry University?
Beijing Forestry University provides three master programs under the APFNet Scholarship: Forestry, Forest Economics and Management, and Forest Industry. These master programs will be conducted in English and have a duration of 2 years. 3.What Fees will be covered by APFNet scholarship?
The APFNet Scholarship package includes registration fee, tuition fee and on-campus accommodation. Besides, annual subsidy for medical care, integrated insurance and off-campus accommodation (in case of need) as well as other allowances will be granted by the host university.
4.How do I apply?
The APFNet Scholarship Announcement will be formally circulated within Asia-Pacific through APFNet focal points and eligible applicants are required to submit materials to the host university and the APFNet Secretariat before the deadline and final selection will be decided by a panel of experts and scholars under the APFNet. 5.What is the annual review mechanism?
Once admitted, a scholarship student should receive an annual review at the end of each academic year on study/research progress. 6.What academic degree will I take when study is completed?
A master’s degree recognized by the international community will be awarded by the host university when curriculum is successfully completed.
