Group Photo of 2026 Nanjing Forestry University Scholarship New Students

In September 2026, six new APFNet Scholarship Program (ASP) students from Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand and the Philippines began their postgraduate studies at Nanjing Forestry University, enrolling in master's programs in forestry and in resources and environment. To help them settle into campus life, Nanjing Forestry University coordinated orientation activities and assisted the students with enrollment and other practical arrangements. The scholarship students expressed their appreciation for the learning opportunity provided by the APFNet, and said they would make the most of their time in China, strengthen their professional skills and apply what they learn to their future work.

In 2026, ASP enrolled 15 scholarship students from forestry management departments and research institutions across the Asia-Pacific region. The students will pursue their studies at three host universities: Nanjing Forestry University, Southwest Forestry University and Zhejiang Agriculture & Forestry University. Since its launch in 2010, ASP has contributed regional capacity building for forestry professionals, deepened cooperation in forestry education, facilitated the knowledge and experience sharing in sustainable forest management, and supported developing economies in Asia-Pacific region in cultivating talents with an international perspective and professional expertise.
